100 WC Week 6

The friend of the statue

It was 1963, I was 9 years old playing by the pond with the most amount of puddles with the most amount of rain we've had for 5 years. We would play all day until one friend told another to dive into the pond, he didn't. he convinced him to do it by saying "I do it alot." That was a lie, he just wanted to see what happens. he jumped head first, but his feet wouldn't sink. He started squiggling while the others were taking pictures. I went and saved him. that's how this statue lies here.

  1. Your opening sentences does a great job setting the scene of your story. You are missing some capitals to begin your sentences. I like your word choice squiggling. Your ending is very quick and short and almost seems rushed.
